NSFW Manager is a privacy-focused Windows desktop application that processes all images and videos locally on your device. No files, metadata, or personal data ever leave your computer.

1. Data Collection

NSFW Manager does not collect, transmit, or store any of the following:

Images or videos analyzed by the application
File names, paths, or metadata
Detection results or scan history
Personal information (name, email, address, etc.)
Usage statistics, telemetry, or analytics
Crash reports or diagnostic data
Device identifiers or hardware information

1.1 Optional License Validation

If you choose to activate a paid license, the following minimal data is transmitted to api.nsfwmanager.com over a secure HTTPS connection:

License key (alphanumeric string)
Email address (used for license identification only)

Important: No image files, detection results, or file metadata are ever transmitted during license validation or at any other time.

2. Data Usage

All image and video analysis is performed 100% locally on your Windows device using ONNX machine learning models stored on your computer. Detection results are:

Displayed only within the application interface
Never transmitted over the internet
Never logged to external servers
Stored only in temporary memory during application runtime

3. Data Sharing

NSFW Manager does not share any data with third parties, including:

No data sharing with advertisers
No data sharing with analytics providers
No data sharing with cloud storage services
No data sharing with social media platforms
No data sharing with Microsoft or any other entity

The application operates entirely offline, except for the optional license validation request described above.

4. Local Processing

NSFW Manager is designed as a local-first, privacy-by-design application:

All detection processing happens on your device
Detection models (ONNX files) are stored locally in the application directory
No internet connection is required for detection features
Files remain in their original locations on your hard drive
Quarantine and file management operations are performed locally

5. Telemetry and Analytics

NSFW Manager does not implement:

Telemetry collection
Usage analytics
Crash reporting
Error logging to external servers
Performance monitoring
Feature usage tracking

The application does not contact any server except for optional license validation as described in Section 1.1.

6. License Validation

If you purchase a license for NSFW Manager, the application may perform an optional license validation request to api.nsfwmanager.com when you activate your license or periodically to verify its status. This request includes only:

Your license key
Your email address

This request is sent over HTTPS and does not include:

Any image or video files
Detection results
File names or paths
Device information
Usage data

License validation data is used solely for verifying license authenticity and preventing unauthorized use. We do not use this data for marketing, profiling, or any other purpose.

7. User Rights (GDPR Compliance)

Because NSFW Manager does not collect or store personal data (except for license information), most GDPR rights are not applicable. However:

Right to access: You may request information about your license by contacting support.
Right to deletion: You may request deletion of your license data by contacting support.
Right to data portability: Not applicable (no data is collected).
Right to object: You may choose not to activate a license and continue using the trial version.

If you are located in the European Union, you have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

8. Security

NSFW Manager employs the following security measures:

All network communication (license validation) uses HTTPS encryption
No cloud storage or remote access to your files
No third-party SDKs or tracking libraries are embedded in the application
Application does not request unnecessary Windows permissions
Quarantined files are stored locally in a protected directory on your device

Because all processing is local, the security of your files depends on the security of your Windows device. We recommend keeping your operating system and antivirus software up to date.

9. Third-Party Components

NSFW Manager uses the following third-party open-source components for local processing only:

ONNX Runtime (Microsoft) — MIT License — for running detection models locally
Pillow (PIL) — HPND License — for image processing
NumPy — BSD 3-Clause License — for numerical operations
Python (stdlib) — PSF License v2 — for application runtime
send2trash — BSD 3-Clause License — for safe file deletion

These components operate entirely offline and do not transmit data. Full license texts are available in the application's "Open Source Notices" section.

10. Content Policy

NSFW Manager is a content moderation utility designed to help users identify and manage potentially explicit media in their own personal file collections. The application:

Does not generate, create, or distribute content
Does not process content involving minors — the application is designed to detect adult content only and should never be used to analyze, store, or manage illegal material
Is intended for lawful personal use only — users are responsible for compliance with applicable laws in their jurisdiction
Does not provide content viewing or playback features — it is a file management tool, not a media player

Prohibited Use: NSFW Manager must not be used to process, store, or manage child sexual abuse material (CSAM) or any other illegal content. Any such use violates our Terms of Service and applicable law.

11. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or legal requirements. The "Last Updated" date at the top of this page indicates when the policy was last revised. Continued use of the application after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
